NUDO's FiberLite FRP Carries the Factory Mutual Certification

NUDO is pleased to announce that FiberLite FRPF wall and ceiling panels are now available with FM (Factory Mutual) Approval. FM Approvals is a third-party global testing laboratory and certification agency. FM Approval means that FiberLite FRPF has met the FM Approval standard FM4880.

NUDO's NuComb Used in NASA's Mars Simulator

NUDO's NuComb-A was used in the design of the hatch of the NASA's Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA). CHAPEA’s Mars Dune Alpha is a habitat designed to serve as an analog for one-year missions to Mars. NUDO's NuComb-A features aluminum honeycomb sandwiched between two aluminum skins. It offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, moisture and corrosion resistance and has high thermal conductivity, which makes it an ideal fit for use in the hatch.

NUDO's UtiLite interlocking wall and ceiling panels are now available in 2 options. UtiLite Premium is made in the US and offers extreme durability for medium traffic applications. It features water and moisture resistance and has high reflectivity. UtiLite Standard offers water and moisture resistance and high reflectivity as well, but is ideal for low traffic applications and is an economy priced panel.

Chip Mann, NUDO's Exterior Products Manager, announced that NUDO's Endurex 557 Insulated Glazing and Curtain Wall Panel has passed the High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ) testing for Florida Building Code. This testing result further re-enforces the ability of this high-impact exterior wall panel to withstand the toughest of weather conditions. NUDO now offers a solid core PVC hygienic base cove (PV8F and PV15F) that is designed where water, chemical and fungus resistance is required. It also features a smooth, easy-to-clean surface and is simple to replace when needed. In addition, Nudo is also offering HygiSeal, a high-quality, neutral, single-component construction sealant based on MS-Polymer. NUDO Invests in Cloud-Based Specification Program SpecLink

NUDO has taken steps to increase our product awareness by investing in a specification program called SpecLink. This cloud-based building specification software system is designed to help architectural specifiers improve spec coordination and allows NUDO to get in front of design professionals at their point of product selection. This will give NUDO the visibility to be integrated into the various types of project applications they are designing.
SpecLive corresponds with SpecLink and provides advanced reporting tools that allow NUDO to track our specifications and forward them to our distribution base to assist with completing the full cycle from the sale to project completion. We felt that this investment would increase NUDO’s brand awareness to architects and designers, thereby bridging the gap between product specifications and sales.
